Came here for breakfast on a Saturday around 9 am. You order at the counter and they give you a number and you take a seat. The line can get long so try to get in early.
We got 3 things to split between two people.
XLB: 10 pcs for around $8.
the size is a bit small but they make up for it in quantity. Not a lot of soup but has decent meat content.
Pork sandwich - the bread is so flaky and the meat is seasoned well.
The sandwich is approximately 6" long x 3" wide
Egg crepe - serving size is large, length approximately 9".
All in all our bill was around $20 and we were full until around dinnertime so it definitely was a good meal at a very reasonable price.
I would recommend this to people who like that type of food. -

This is one of my favorite Taiwanese breakfast places in the LA area mostly because I think they have the best rice roll. They have multiple options but my favorite is the rice roll with egg and mustard. We also get multiples for work every once in a while and it's still good even after an hour or two (since my office is on the Westside).
Service is typical for a Chinese place and their English is not the best but you should still be able to manage ordering even if you don't know Chinese.
This place is cash only though but is in a plaza with a large parking lot. -

The line here can get pretty long on the weekends and it's open seating so sometimes you gotta be aggressive!
Favorites here:
- turnip cake with egg: they fry the turnip cakes so well. I really don't like soggy turnip cake, especially on the inside because it just feels like mush but when they're fried well they taste so good. And the egg on top is just an added bonus! I'm sure you can also order just the turnip cake
- soy milk: granted soy milk tastes the same in most places but you can add as much sugar as you want
- egg pancake: honestly, can't go wrong with this either. It's egg and green onions wrapped in a Chinese-style tortilla. Definitely eat it with the sauces they have on the table.
Hit or miss:
- the Chinese cruellers, some days they're deliciously crispy, other days they're really dry and oily.
- salty rice ball: this usually has the Chinese crueller so I feel that's what makes or break it
It's by far one of the best Taiwanese breakfast stops in the area. -

Step by step:
Come in / stand in line / order what you want / pick a table / get served / EAT!
My husband treated me to this new gem in Hacienda Heights - total shock how this place had people coming in NON-STOP! Trying my first Taiwanese breakfast it was good I came hungry. I think we pretty much ordered everything what they're known for!
Do keep in mind that they might not understand English 100% but as long as you have an idea of what you want.. just show them a picture and they'll get it! (Of course, their menu has English just not pictures - that's what Yelps for!) -

So glad I found this restaurant in LA County. I've only been to the one in OC before and haven't explored my area much since moving a year ago. They have all of the most popular Taiwanese breakfast items along with some cold dishes and pastries. Pricing is okay. Even their most expensive item is under $10. Restaurant is self seating, and they're not the most efficient in cleaning up after their guests leave so be prepared to move dirty plates and dishes to the side to make room for you and your party. The plus side to this restaurant is that they take card, which makes it more convenient for those of us who don't carry too much cash with us. If you're really into Taiwanese breakfast like me and you're in the area, this is a good place to try. Flavors are always on point, and this location didn't disappoint from their Irvine location.
